The history of the company dates back to 1972, when in Cheboksary, the capital of Chuvash Republic, started the building of an industrial tractor plant. In October 1975 the first tractor was manufactured. Today Cheboksary may be called by right the capital of the Russian tractor building. Cheboksary industrial tractors plant (ChZPT, later – “Promtractor” JSC) was the first Russian enterprise for tractor building to organize its own leasing company and a network of service centers. It provides the partners with a full-scale program of after-sales service due to representations located maximally close to operation places of machines. In addition to opened regional representation offices, since 2005 “Promtractor” refused the general practice of sales and turned to an individual work with customers. The effective feedback system with consumers and active policy in sales and services allowed to improve products quality up to the world standards. 

CHETRA-Industrial machinery JSC was established in 2006 by means of integration of the sales service of “Promtractor” JSC and “Promtractor-Service” JSC. Due to the thirty years experience the specialists master successfully the set problems.
