LOADERS UNDER CITY CHETRA SUB-BRAND WILL BE TESTED BY EUROPEANS

Skid steer loaders (MKSM – 800 fitted with a Cummins engine, MKSM – 1000 and MKSM – 1200 with Hatz engines) as well as attachments to them manufactured by enterprises of the largest Russian machine-building Tractor Plants Concern holding are prepared for certification tests of International TÜV Rheinland InterCert organization concerning European standards and directives compliance.

The representatives of TŰV Rheinland InterCert will be at Kurganmashzavod JSC. soon to perform a series of technical inspections. The purpose of their visit is to have a detailed idea of design documentation for machines, of machinery itself and conditions of its manufacture, as well as to test equipment. The technical documentation will be studied also in the headquarters of TŰV Rheinland InterCert, in Budapest.

State-of-the-art test methods applied by TŰV Rheinland InterCert allow to come to the conclusion that the equipment under CITY CHETRA trademark meets all the requirements existing in the European Union with respect to labor protection, noise exposure limit, laser and electromagnetic emissions, etc. 98 / 37 / EC directive is applied both directly to machinery as a whole and to its separate parts and attachments.

It should be noted that CHETRA 11T and CHETRA T20 dozers manufactured by enterprises of Tractor Plants Concern have had certificates of TŰV Rheinland InterCert since March 2006 and as for CHETRA T15 and CHETRA T25 they have had certificates since May 2007. A certification process for CHETRA TG221, CHETRA TG301, CHETRA TG511 pipelayers and a CHETRA T40 dozer is taking place. Now it is the turn of municipal machinery to be certified in compliance with European standards. According to schedule of work TŰV certificates will be received just at the beginning of 2009. As a result, MKSMs will bear CE-marking, that allows to supply such products to the countries of the European Union. Thanks to this Chetra – Industrial Machinery, a trade and service company, has an opportunity to expand substantially sales markets for CITY CHETRA skid steer loaders successfully operating now in Russia and CIS countries. It should be mentioned that certification costs are expected to be effective promptly and appreciably. A keen interest in municipal machinery of Tractor Plants Concern manufacture has been already shown by customers from Bulgaria, Rumania and Poland.
