Notwithstanding the crisis and disastrous state of the engineering industry, «Concern «Tractor Plants» continues realization of its long-term complex program on modernization and improvement of technical characteristics of the manufactured machinery. A whole complex of intercommunicating business units, including trade companies, construction departments and production sites, are involved into continuous process of creation of more efficient, competitive and hi-tech Russian machinery. This close, effective and promising co-operation resulted in modernization of CHETRA dozers and pipe-layers.
According to the customer’s request modern engines with rated capacity from 165 up to 660 h.p. with high reliability and perfect repairability can be mounted. Cooling system consists of radiator blocks of hardened design with the transmission oil cooling section, internal combustion engine coolant section and boost air section – designed especially for machinery working in hard conditions.
Tractor manipulation, as well as control of its systems, is hydraulic, electrohydraulic or electric, performed by means of joysticks, buttons and electrical pedals. This provides operational comfort and makes it possible to mount hydraulic mountings at the points of fixation of the cab to the chassis, which results in lowering of the vibration level in the cab.
Procurement of complex of engine and transmission control devices and blocks considerably advanced preparation of the unification of tractor cab’s electric equipment. For the first time microprocessing dash board, unified with KAMAZ dash board, is used in the combination of electric equipment. This dash board compares favourably with the earlier constructions due to improved design and illumination engineering.
Outdated housings produced in Russia mostly replaced by the housings, produced by «Duetsch», one of the world most successful companies, specialized in producing of housings for hard working conditions.
Modifications in the tractors’ design resulted in improvement of the operator’s working conditions, increase of efficiency and reliability of the machinery, as well as in reducing of fuel consumption under normal operation and in reducing of pollutant emission in the atmosphere.
