CHETRA: cooperation strengthening with India
19 November 2009
A customer-oriented policy that means satisfaction of all requirements of customers to the extent possi-ble is on of top-priority goals of the machine-building group. Many years of non-standard application of CHETRA pipelayers on Indian coal open-casts is a striking example of adoption of machines to special condi-tions. NLC - the owner of biggest lignite open-casts in India - operates modern machines by leading world manufacturers including CHETRA pipelayers.
For the purpose of customers’ convenience and active promotion of industrial machinery in India, we keep developing our service net. Indian engineers after training in Russia are working in our service centers now.
For the last five years CHETRA – Industrial machinery shipped to India more than 250 units of machines manufactured by Promtractor JSC and Onezhsk tractor plant, among them CHETRA pipelayers with lifting ca-pacity 40, 70, 100 t, CHETRA Т11 and CHETRA Т20 dozers, skidders etc. Among our consumers are the following big Indian companies: Reliance Infrastructure Ltd., Punj Lloyd Ltd., Essar Constructions Ltd., Kal-pataru Ltd., Hindustan Constructions Ltd., Jaihind Projects Ltd., KSS India Ltd. etc.
A developed infrastructure of promotion of products manufactured by Machinery & Industrial Group N.V.’s plants speaks for effective development of export and successful substitution of competitive machines by Russian products. Export potential of Russian products is described in the results of the investigation «Methods of development of the Russian economy potential: cooperation of manufacturing sectors», carried out by the Engineering Workers Guild in 2009.
