On 17-19 November 2009, the Russian machine-building holding Machinery & Industrial Group N.V. showed CHETRA machines in the 14th International exhibition “Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan - OGT 2009”.  
Deputy Chairman of Cabinet Council, Minister of Oil and Gas  Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan Baimurad Khojamukhamedov got acquainted with CHETRA machinery and noted its high quality and importance for oil & gas sector, as well as promising outlook of cooperation with Russian manufacturers.
Pipelayers, dozers and loaders with CHETRA brand have established a good reputation in various sectors of industry including oil-and-gas sector. In 2008, CHETRA-Industrial machinery - the trade company of Machinery & Industrial Group N.V. – delivered to Turkmenistan CHETRA Т20 doz-ers in followup of an international tender of the State Concern “Turkmenneft” for purchase of tractor equipment. CHETRA also takes part in tenders for purchase of machines for pipelines repair. This fact speaks for itself – Russia is a strong competitor in this field.
The exhibition was held with the assistance of the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as Turkmen oil companies. The exhibi-tion presented scientific and technical achievements in extraction, transportation and storage of min-eral resources. In the Ashgabad exhibition palace Sergi Koşgi they presented innovative industrial machines including spare parts and components and oil-and-gas equipment manufactured by Prom-tractor JSC, Kurganmashzavod JSC and Cheboksary aggregates plant JSC.
Recession in consumer demand in the Russian market compelled domestic equipment manu-facturers to become more active in promoting their products in foreign markets. In spite of obstacles for development of export, import substitution and competitive growth, the machine-building holding Machinery & Industrial Group N.V. continues stimulating scientific and innovative activities on manu-facture of high-quality, reliable and competitive products, which are in demand in well-promising markets of the world. According to preliminary results of “Methods of development of the Russian economy potential: cooperation of manufacturing sectors” – the investigation, carried out by the En-gineering Workers Guild in 2009 – international cooperation of Machinery & Industrial Group N.V. favours the stable development of the national economy during globalization.
