ENGINE
QSX15-C440 V6, four-stroke, turbocharged, air-to-air aftercooled diesel engine manufactured by Cummins company.

- Max. torque- 2248 Nm at 1400 rpm
Engine with "Quantum" system, comprising electronic fuel injection, diagnostic, engine protection and control systems. Oil cleaning system with full-flow filter with one replaceable filtering element. Fuel cleaning system has one replaceable filtering element and an engine-mounted water separator. Water gauge is in the fuel tank. The cooling system includes two radiators blocks, the block consisting of coolant radiator and built in its lower tank heat exchanger for transmission oil cooling with two oil cooling inserts and aluminum radiators block of charge air and fuel coolers. Engine-mounted coolant filter has one filtering element. Heat control is performed by thermostat and blower fan. Fan drive is belt through V1501 electromagnetic clutch of the Linning company (Germany). Clutch control is performed by V1602 electronic control unit of the Linning company (Germany) in response to signals coming from coolant temperature, inlet manifold air and engine fuel discharge sensors. The fan switches on at coolant temperatures of 87.. .95 °C, charge air temperatures of 58.. .7 °C and fuel temperatures of 56.. .65 °C. 24-V electric system.
