The machine is mounted on the pipeline keeping its structural integrity and is used together with insulating machine. It heats the pipeline surface prior to using the insulation film.

Depending on the heating method of pipeline outer surface two versions of machines are manufactured.
Pipeline heating is performed either by diesel fuel firing or thermal radiation of ceramics.

In comparison with well-known analogs the machine based on the diesel fuel firing has the following advantages:

  • Use of fuel burners ensures high quality pipe heating to the optimal temperature at the movement speed of up to 150 m/h;
  • Using smooth movement speed adjustment;
  • Availability of mounting additional heat-insulating sections;
  • Using automatic equipment for diesel burners shut-down in order to prevent the pipe from overheating after stopping the machine.
