ENGINE
V8 four-stroke liquid cooled turbocharged YaMZ-238-ND4—1 dlesel engine of Yaroslavl motor plant.
- Cylinder bore and piston stroke −130 mm x 140 mm.
- Engine displacement −14,86 L.
- Operating power-175 kW (238 h.p.) at 1900 rpm.
- Maximum torque, not less than1108at 1100...1400 rpm.
Fuel pump with all-speed regulator and injection timing device. Oil cleaning full-flow system with one changeable paper filtering element and centrifugal filter. Liquid-oil heat exchanger for engine oil cooling. A heat exchanger for transmission oil cooling is mounted in the radiators block. Heat control is run by a thermostat and the fan driven by the disc clutch with the fan automatic switch depending on the cooling liquid temperature. 24-volts electric starting system. Pneumatic compressor for inflation of 5336-3509012-10 tires.
